From The Scanner

I thought I had posted the last of the fall pix. I went out today to get the newspaper and saw all these gorgeous Bradford Pear leaves all over the lawn and lane. I grabbed a handful and brought them in the house and laid them on the scanner. The one with the white background was scanned with the scanner lid down. The two with the black background were scanned with the scanner lid up.

This is actually an art form. Mine was just a feeble attempt to hang on to some of fall's rich, deep color. There are artists, however, who make beautiful prints using objects and a scanner.

Which do you like the best? the light or the dark background?

I can't decide which I like better. They are both gorgeous! Good work! Can we will steal your idea and call it art for school?

Sure, but it's not really my idea. I saw it on the internet somewhere a long time ago.

I think this would be pretty...take the white one and mat it with black and take the black one and mat it with white and hang them side by side. What'cha think?

Meant to add...I would also turn them the other way, like in portrait mode. I think they would look better side by side that way.
