The Dogwood Arts Festival is held in Knoxville, Tennessee every spring. Several communities in the area have dogwood trails. You drive your car through, following the pink arrows painted on the road. The yards and sidewalks are full of dogwoods, red buds, crab apples, azaleas, forsythias, tulips, and daffodils, depending on what is blooming at the time.
One year, we drove down a particularly beautiful lane. We were surrounded by blooms and blossoms on every side. To make it even more special, many of the homes had antique cars sitting in the yards or on the curb. These are a few pix that I snapped that day. The fruit truck is my favorite. It was full of real fresh fruit.
